Bon Secours St. Mary's Hospital (COE)

"I highly recommend St. Marys Hospital to anyone who is contemplating WLS and can make the arrangements to go there. My hospital stay covered 3 days and I never wanted for anything. The staff is well trained and very friendly."

Neil Hutcher

"Dr. Neil Hutcher is the best there is in my book. He only does Open RNY surgeries and he certainly is a very caring person. He took all the time I wanted during my office visits and answered any questions I had. The introductory routine of his office is to send you a video and the beginning paperwork for you to fill out and the video is Dr. Hutcher and a nurse discussing the RNY procedure in detail. There is nothing left to the imagination so you are very well informed when you meet with him for the first time. He also has a group meeting and goes over the same material that is on the video only in slide pictures and answers any questions that you may have. Then, and only then, you are allowed to make your first appointment to see him. He wants you to be very sure that you understand the seriousness of the procedure and that you are ready to undergo the surgery. Barbara is one of the Nurse Practitioners in his group and she is the greatest, the most caring, concerned individual. She really is there for the patient and not just for her paycheck. She has been a friend and mentor to me and I can talk with her about anything. Dr. Hutcher is really fortunate for have her on his staff and I am so very, very thankful that she is the one that I see on my visits to his office. A BIG THANK YOU, Barbara!!! "
