I'm 36 years old and have been overweight for 20 years. I was always a chunky kid but as hormones (and boys) kicked in, I dropped a good 15-20lbs and kept it off through high school. I am blessed to not have any of the illnesses that have affected some of my family members and I want to keep it that way!!! I have been researching, researching, researching and researching bariatric surgery and I think I'm getting close to a decision. If it's God's will to have the surgery, I will.
