My file went to the board this week and they approved me but they would just like me to meet with their psy for an evaluation & just to confirm but told me I have nothing to worry about. I spoke to Maryellen the head nurse at the hospital and she informed me tonight at my second (required) support group meeting that I have to attend two more nutrition classes (next one is on the 20th & I am calling tomorrow to schedule my last one for the following week) and just get one last blood test done (drug & alcohol) and I am good to go. My surgery will be scheduled for the middle of April (around the 3rd week no later). So I am soooooooo excited. I had some up and downs through the whole process but since I switched hospitals everything is going great!!!!!!!!!! I am really excited and I hope the time flies by fast. :) I was bummed about what happened at the other facilities but they say things happen for a reason and I am really glad they did because I LOVE the new facility and the whole staff....they have been great! It was definitely worth the wait! :)
