Day After the Insurance Denial

Docs office called at 4 PM yesterday saying that Blue Cross is denying me based on the fact that my BMI is 39.8 -- not 40 or over. Assistant told me that I HAD to come in first thing Monday morning to be weighed. She was carfeul about how she worded her message. Something to the effect, "Your weight may have changed since you were last here. You need to do it Monday so the doctor can have a conference call with the doctor from Blue Cross. I HOPE this means if I can pull it off and get over the 40 BMI that I'll be approved for surgery on Monday. I am sick to my stomach thinking that this may not happen. it's hard to remain positive right now.
