SO April 21st is when I should be getting my surgery date scheduled! WOW am I excited TODAY for some reason more than others! I'm so so so excited to start this thing! LOL. I have been working so hard to get here!  I have only 3-4 lbs left to lose and 16 days to do it!  I TOTALLY can do that!  BRING THE CHALLANGE! Just wanted to post a quick one! SO EXCITED !!!!! 

Good Morning to anyone interested in reading this!

So In 19 days I will be meeting with my surgeon to get my date! I am nervous  YET SO EXCITED!  I can't believe  that its already coming up SO quickly! I feel like I started the journey yesterday! I have struggled to lose the weight but finally have found a way and the weight is melting off! .  It is just a modified version of adtkins! I could not lose the weight with the 1500 cal diet. I was still eating too many carbs I think! So LOW carb is the way to go for me, plus I've heard that little to no "raw" bread aka untoasted is what I will be living with! Why not get used to it now right?

I sit here most days and dream about me finally being thinner and healthier! It seems so surreal! Does anyone EVER have that feeling?  I am just so thrilled I have an opportunity to have a super healthy active life! Thank GOD for insurance, and their willingness to pay! I'm really lucky that the requirements are not too much! I'm so astounded there is a "tool" for people who cannot keep the weight off.

Strange question but Do people who are obese ever envy the thinner people? As much as I strive to be thin, I never am envious of what thin ppl have. I think I am more envious of overweight people who are comfortable in their skin! I wish I had just one ounce of that! Maybe its how I was raised? Maybe its the people who were around me always hounding me about my weight! I just am so happy to have good friends, and fiance' and my step son around me! They always help me keep going! They always support me and encourage me to do what I think is best! Who can really argue with that?

So as of 330 today I have recieved the GREEN light from my psychologist!!  I am SO excited! Although he did not get osme of th facts right..and it took me 8 times to get him to get it...he got it! I did awesome on my testing!! I am ready for surgery!!!  I am so so thrilled today! I wish everyone the same happiness I feel today! ALL I have left is the rest of the HP phone course! Then I can see the surgeon , and schedule my date!!! wooo hooo!!!

SO I'm on the road to having the surgery. I don't know if anyone has HP but they make you do a phone pre op course! I found out yesterday it is going to take 10 weeks!!! SERIOUSLY! Is that really necessary? That is going to drag it out until the end of march! I suppose its not too bad! Being that I have only one more psych appt left. That is Thursday. I already passed but he wants to meet a support person, so that should be fun! Other than that its the dumb phone course holding me up!  BUT it does mean I'm almost there! woo hoo!!! 

I just want to also say that everyone here is such an insperation to me. I have some lbs to lose still so I will keep on truckin but you all give me hope!
