 My surgery date is Friday October 30, 2009. I am so excited. The review board met today to go over their upcoming weight loss surgeries. The doctors, nurses and anesthesiologist that will be in the OR meet once a month to go over their upcoming surgeries. Ali, Dr. Beltre's nurse called to let me know that the board said my case was one of the best ones. She said they told her I was a perfect  WLS patient. Yeah!!! This made me feel great and more relaxed about the surgery. I go for my pre-op labs and to meet the anesthesiologist this Thursday.  I am still a little nervous but know I am good hands. I am a bit worried about my pain after surgery and how quickly I will be able to get back to my routine. My husband is staying home with me for 10 days and the nurse told me that was more than enough. I can not wait for the new me!!
