Well it has been 6 days since I had surgery. I cant eat much ,nothing taste good and I am just not hungrey.Ice water is the best. I can eat a little pudding and drink a little juice.I am not getting the protein in that I need. Anyone know how long before I start to feel better? Susan Doffing

Susan, I am so glad that you made it home. I am however, sorry that you are having so much pain and that the ride home was so painful. I will keep you in my prayers that your recovery gets better and better with each passing day. I will also pray that your pain subsides as soon as possible. Best wishes to you.

Well I am home Got out of the hospital Saturday at 6pm. It took us about 4.5 hours to drive home. It was so painfull the ride home. I had alot of complaints but I made it through the surgery.I have had alot of pain.I am on the road to recovery. Susan Doffing

Wow Susan! Tomorrow is the first day of the rest of your life!I pray that you will have a very uneventful day...before, during and after your surgery.I wil be joining you on the "losing side" in less than two weeks. Won't it be grand!I can't wait to be called a "Loser"!{{{HUGS}}}

Susan WOW!your day is almost here! I know you are going through a whirlwind of emotions about now as the day draws nearer...... I can still remember them and I am here to tell you they are NORMAL....so hang in there soon you will be on the losing side enjoying the positives of WLS.
