Dear Sara, Thank you so much for your kind words! I am very familiar with Jeremiah 29:11, that is one of my favorite passages in the bible. I almost posted that one on my profile page, but decided to go with a Psalm instead. I draw so much courage and peace from Jeremiah 29:11 thank you for bringing it back to my attention. Sara, Well your almost there! I bet you feel nervous right? that's the way I felt to.......thing's are foing according to God's will.I am so happy that you finally had your appt. Wow can you imagine this is going by fast,the authorization letter will be off to Blue Sheild in no time. I will talk to you soon....God bless

Sara, Hi. Just wanted to let you know that I will be praying for you and hope that you appts. go well. I will be having surgery on Monday 8/30/04. It was about a 4 month process for me. I have a WONDERFUL surgeon. I had been thinking about this surgery for a little over a year. I have 3 friends who have had this surgery. They have done great. I finally called the Dr.s office and they sent me a packet to complete and the rest is history. They have kind of let me get everything completed and then they submitted the request for surgery. I was first denied and then after my doctor called and spoke to their doctor who decides the cases I rec'd. my approval in the mail on a Saturday. I couldn't believe it. I had worked so hard going to support group meetings every month. Having all the test completed and then I thought for sure I was gonna go round and round with my insurance. But I decided on a Tuesday not to worry anymore about it. I just gave it to God and by Saturday I had my approval. I am nervous but I read you scripture reference for Jer. 29:11. It brought tears to my eyes. I know that God is in control and all things work together for good to them that love the Lord and I do love the Lord with all my heart. My family has been through so much this past couple of years. It is truly when you are down and think no one is listening that you realize God is always there. Hi Sara, Thank you for your good wishes and congrats on your appt. I have been looking at WLS for myself for about a year now, on and off. I have never heard of anyone being ultimately turned down as long as they stayed the course. I know it isn't easy and can be discouraging. But it's well worth it, especially when the other side of the battle is a happy and healthy person. Good luck to you. Jeff
