My name is Maria I had surgery on October 24th 2006 . I was 273 pounds before surgery and in the first week I lost 12 pounds from there on I have been loosing weight . I have two wonderfull boys Ed and Jeff , they are my life. It has been hard on me up to today from the first day I had this surgery and my kids want me to carry them, play with them and eat with them. That is some of the problems I live with everyday . After my surgery it left me wanting to eat certain types of food and I am being very strong resisting it. Like chicken marsela , broccoli, bread, lasgana and the list keeps going. My mouth tends to get watery when I see some of my favorite foods and I know I can't have it just yet. My husband doesnt like when we go out to dinner and I dont eat my food and he has to end up eating it.
