I've been post-op almost 8 months now. My surgery was done on Sept. 29th 2006 & if I had to do it over again I definitely would but it hasn't been without its pitfalls. I wasn't able to eat solid food very well until amost 5 months out & here I am at almost 8 months & I'm still using Previcid to digest my food but heck I am healthy now with no more diabetes or high cholesesterol & heck I lost over 100# already!
I went from 247# on October 1st when I left the hospital to 155# now.
I also went from a size 26 pants & 3 x blouses/shirts to XL/L tops & size 12/14 pants.
That alone makes me feel like a new woman at almost 58 years of age!
Gosh I look 20 years younger.
