I will write the short version as I am having my RNY tomorrow. I have had my ups and downs with weight for a very long time. Through two marriages and three children. The second marriage was heartbreaking and mind crippling. After many years I met someone and felt happy. A few years later I found him dead when I came home the day my grandson was born. No Note, nothing, we had never had a cross word. That was the lowest point for me and my depression led to severe obesity. I wrestled with ghosts and bad memories from my past for a long time. Now I am married to the most wonderful man in the world. He loves me despite my disability and my weight. To him I am beautiful. Now I embark on a new journey. OPen RNY Feb 1st with Dr Huse. I know I will make it with my loving family and friends and God's ever protecting hands.
