Well I am now done pitying myself and rescheduled surgery.....I have a new date which is January 6th.  I was assured that I was the only patient so I would not be cancelled again.  I something happens now I know I truly was not meant to have surgery.  I am back being positive and am looking forward to the date. 

Well I was at the hospital sat in the waiting room for over an hour.  Finally got called back put hospital gown on and socks.....then Dr. Brader walks in and says sorry but the other patients took to long so there is no time for you.....wow is this a sign or what.  I prayed long and hard to make sure I would be okay and then this happens.  I do not maybe I should not be doing this. 

Wow where to start.  I have my surgery date scheduled for December 16, 2009.  I finally got my insurance approval on 12/10/09.  Talk about cutting it close.  I have had many surgeries in my lifetime but all more emergencies.  I am getting nervous and am just want to start the journey from the other side.  Here comes the joy of the liquid diet the day before.
