OMG! I have a date!!!

 I HAVE A DATE!!   My surgery is scheduled for November 24.  That is in 3 weeks!!!  I'm in a state of disbelief.  I just can't believe that this is actually going to happen.  WOW!  

When the Patient Coordinator called me today, I was in the middle of Walmart.  My memory is shot, so if I don't write things down, I don't remember them (I constantly have things written on my hand).  So I'm talking to her, while running over to office supplies.  I opened up a pen (yes, I paid for it), and wrote down all of the info on my arm. 

So next week I have my final pre-op class, and I'll have the rest of my pre-op testing.  Then 2 weeks after that, I'll have my surgery.

My mom was going to come in for my surgery to watch my daughter while I was in Chicago, but since it is the week of Thanksgiving she'll be visiting my Grandpa.  So she won't be able to come in until the following week.  My daughter has school the day of my surgery, so I may have to go to Chicago by myself, while my husband takes her to school. Oh well.

YAY!!!!!!!!
