My story huh...it's probably very similar to alot of other people. I was born premature...just 2 lbs 13 oz. I was always behind the other babies and toddlers when it came to milestones. I was very small for about 10 years. I remember my family always trying to feed me so I could gain weight. Well their wish came true when I was about 12 years old. I started packing on the weight and continued to through adulthood.
Finally at 29 years old, I decided to have the gastric bypass surgery. There were alot of people I knew who had it done and looked great. The surgery went well for the most part. I did develop 2 pulmonary embolisms, but my surgeon caught them early and I am currently on blood thinners to dissolve them. I don't regret having the surgery at all. I've lost 52 pounds and am looking forward to losing at least another 100 pounds or so.
