Hello my name is Carol. I live in Wyoming. Just a little background for you all. I am 40 years old and weigh 315 pounds. I found out on my birthday that my insurance had approved me to have gastric bypass surgery, and have been scheduled for surgery on December 20, 2010.
I have been happily married for 10 years and have an 8 year old son. My husband and I love to go camping and horse back riding but in recent years I have been unable because of my weight. I am hoping along with becoming healthier I will be able to regain what I love to do the most riding horse.
My son is the lite of my life he is involved in every sport offered to 8 year olds. He plays the violin also. He is a very quick learner and keeps me on my toes. He is excited to have his mommy back so she can run and play like she use to. That in itself is the greatest motivation for success.
I love to do quilting and stamping. I love to read and my new favorite thing is swimming. I have started swimming about a year ago and couldn't move the first couple of weeks because it hurt so bad, but now I swim most days for an hour and it hurts to miss it.
