Hello- My name is Shelley Johnson and I am 41 years old. I am very happily married and have 4 children ages 15, 12, 4, and 2 - which makes for a very busy household. I live in Albany, Minnesota and I am scheduled to have Laparoscipic RNY surgery on February 2, 2007!
I have been overweight all of my life and have done every diet out there. I have lost weight but then gained it back many times. When my scale finally went over 300, I decided to do the gastric bypass surgery - and make the final change in my life.
Why? Because......I want to be able to get down on the floor and play with my little kids or help my daughter practice volleyball more than for just two minutes. I want to ride a roller coaster. I want to go to the beach swimming with my family instead of just watching. I want to live. I can not wait to begin this journey to a NEW me!
