ok well to make my long story short. I have been a type A all my life, which turned out to be Bi-polar. But I have embraced and am coping with it after many years of trying first to understand it. I also had a 100+ lb weight gain due to meds for my mental health. So about 10+ years I have been morbidly obese, is how they describe it. Like I say I have in the past hmm! 4-5 yrs had a good handle on mental health with a stable status. Now for my pysical health. Needing knee replacements, my surgeons, I had to get a second opinion, have suggested the wt.loss surgery due to risk for surgery for knee replacements. So almost 2 years into prep for the wt..loss surgery, I was denied by insurance co. I am appealing and have until March 8th to get that in. My 21 yr old son just left for college last week(about time) and I am just being my independent self. I have gone from cane to walker to wheelchair. Yet, that won't stop me from being superwoman aka bipolar.
