5years out and still holding stronge

I had gastric bypass almost 5 years ago and had more problems after the surgery than I had when I was heavy. I was just wandering if anyone has had alot of issues like mine. I had a hernia that needed repair than gallbladder removed than that lead to 2 years of being sick to fine out that the doc who did the surgery had put 2 holes in my intestines and I almost lost my life. This is only some of my problems. I would do it all over again because I hated the way I was ,but I'm paying dearly to be thin.I'm healing right now from a broken hip and I'm only 49. My iron I have to watch closely because it drops really low. I'm not complaining but just stating that not everyone has perfect out comes and the few of us that don't pay dearly for it.
