"I had my first appointment with Dr. John Jasper. He is very caring....very informative and has a sense of humor! He asked a lot of questions and gave a lot of answers that I needed! I never felt rushed or unimportant! He explained the procedure and what I may expect before during and after the surgery. University Hospital does require a lot of pre-surgery testing!
The supporting staff are great. Anytime I call there is a friendly voice to answer my questions.
The part of the program that I like the most is the support groups! I think it says volumes that the surgeons, nurses, dieticians, pychologists, secretaries, etc. are all at the meetings. There are both pre-op and post-op meetings that they attend. They are there to answer questions, give support, and give out information. That really means a lot to me to know that they are so supportive of the whole program!
I would give Dr. Jasper a 10. I am awaiting the insurance approval yet, but was assured that they have dealt with my HMO in the past and they are quick to approve!
