Ok, It has been a very very long time since I have been here. I am almost 5 years post op. I was once in a size 3/4 now I am in a sz 8/10. I am very hypoglycemic. I have to carry a Glucogan shot with me everywhere I go. My sugar level has been down to 17 and I didn't pass out. My husband to me to the ER and they FREAKED and I had two IV's and a heart monitor. Anyway, all the meds I am on raises the weight. I am now Bipolar, and have Compulsive Personality Disorder, and I have arthritis. Needless to say, I don't work. I had to fight for my disability for 3 yrs. I finally got it. I have my daughter and she is almost 8 now! I think last time I posted she was 3. LOL I still feel fat and I am currently on a diet and have lost 8 pounds in two weeks. I can wear an 8 jean but, my goal is back to the 3/4. My husband still tells me everyday that I look great and he would love me if I weighed 500 pounds. He takes very good care of me. My sugar level drops almost everyday. I watch what I eat and even read the book "Hypoglycemia for Dummy's." Of course the doctors still treat me with caution since I had RNY surgery. They are still unfamiliar with it. I really wish all of you that are waiting for surgery the best of luck, and yes I would do it again tomorrow.
