I wanted to let you know I am home. Thanks to all of your prayers I am home from the hospital. I want you all to know that it was not directly related to the wls surgery last week. I thought something was different in my bowel movements on Sunday night and by monday I knew that my poo was mostly blood and scared to death, so tuesday I finally called the surgeon and saw him tuesday afternoon. It was diffently blood he said and gave me two new perscriptions and sent me to the lab and told me to call him if I got dizzy or light headed. Well by Wedensday night it was pure blood and I couldn't even stand so I called my surgeon and he said get to the hospital now and I will meet you there. He is the best. The waiting room was packed and the doctor was waiting by the door and took me straight in and demanded a bed and nurses with me at all times the took a blood count and it was 8.2 normal is 15-16 low end range. He ordered two units of blood to be given through the night next morning had a GRD a scope through the mouth that was a 6:30 am and I really sleep till 3:00 pm . It came out good no blood which was scarey because this ment it was not from the wls and it could be any thing now. They schulde me for a colonostpy on Friday morning. Well they found where the bleeding came from but all the medicene and Gods touch of course stop it. They did two biopsys from the area of the bleed was from and removed a pollop from another area of the colon. I will get the results from them on Monday. God is good they said it was either a bacteria or an infection of the colon due to the milk intake from my protein shakes that was made with milk and my only input. So no milk from me ever again. A total of 3 units of blood was given to me and lots of meds for now all liquid of course and taste nasty but I will do anything to stay away from the hospital. I again want to thank you for your prayers and sweet notes they are truley inspiring. I love you all and know that God will lift you up as you have me. Love Sunday

This is Paul, Sunday's husband. As most of you know on May 5th Sunday had her Roux-en-Y bariatric weight loss surgery. The last few days she has had blood in her stool when she goes. Last night is was bad enough that she was getting dizzy when she would stand up. We called her doctor at 9:00 pm last night and he said to go to the Norman emergency room and he would meet us there. I must say, her doctor Robert Spector is a phenominal person. He beat us there and took her back personally without filling out a single form. They tested her blood and gave her two pints of blood and she was much better. They said normal blood count is 15 and hers was 8.4. This morning they ran a camera down her throat to see where the bleeding is coming from. They found nothing. Tomorrow morning they are going to give her a colonoscopy. The doctor thinks that her problem is not related to the surgery. He thinks (guesses) maybe there is a pollup in the colon that has been irritated by her diet change. We will find out tomorrow. We have faith that she is going to be fine. We could use your prayers though. I will keep you updated on her condition. Thanks in advance for your prayers. Bye, Paul
