Well, it has been 6 months since my tummy tuck, and I could not be happier! I did discover an old hernia that I had, so that will be repaired in about a month, along with additional tightening on my tummy (hey! the tighter the better, right? haha!) Then in July I plan on finishing off my journey with plastics by getting a breast lift/aug, arm lift, & thigh lift. Then, a brand new me will be born! I have changed so much since this journey started and I cannot begin to thank everyone and everything that has gotten me here. I have changed so much, not only on the outside, but on the inside as well. It has been an emotional trip, but one that I don't think I would have been happy if I had not endured it.
Updates on me: So far I am down to 145 lbs! That puts me FINALLY at the "normal" range on the BMI scale! First time in MY LIFE that I have EVER reached that! I CANNOT begin to describe that feeling! I want to lost about 15 more lbs, then I believe I will be done. I am wearing sz 5-6, 7's on certain brands, and started at a 22/24!! As far as my personal life, my husband moved out on September 1, 2006 and we have been communicating, but nothing seems to have changed. I have all the ppwk for the divorce, and now it's a matter of coming to the final decision and moving forward. I have great friends that help me through all of this, and keep myself busy on the social circuit. I LOVE going out, dancing, shopping, all these things that I never did before because I wanted to just stay home. Life is great, a little dramatic sometimes, and reality sometimes escapes me, but at least I am living my life now and not just existing. I only hope that I can continue this successfully and enjoy the second chance I have been given! On occasion, I do surrender to the carb demons, but I have maintained my restrictions on sugars! I plan on going on a detox program soon and going "back to the basics" to see if I can kickstart my weightloss again before my next round of plastics. *Fingers crossed* pray for me! As for school, I do not believe I will be leaving Florida anytime soon. Eventually I would like to travel and explore what the world has to offer, but I have made a pretty good life for me here in Tampa for the time being and plan on fully enjoying it! I hope all is well with everyone and thanks for reading my stories. I will update more in the future!
