i guess my story is one that is familar to a lot of people. i started getting big around 10 years of age and steadly got bigger with age.when i was 16 years old mum put me on jenny craig when she heard my sobbing my heart out in the middle of the night because the kids at school were soooooooo horrid to me. i got loverly names like beach ball and jenny craig reject and a few other"charming" names. kids are horriable things but as with most of these kind of diets the weight didnt stay off. i fell pregnant with my daughter ( who's about to turn 18 in april ) when i was 19 and i fell into post-natal depression which only enabled me to put on more and more weight until i got to my highest weight  of 146.5 kilos. i first applied for the RNY 6 years ago but after 4 years they lost my name off the list and so i had to go through the whole thing all over again with a different hospital  but after 1 year with that hospital their doctor went private and so they werent doing the RNY , so that was another year gone until finally i meet Dr Skidmore at the Boxhill hospital and within 10 months i got my operation-yippee
so on Nov 10th 2009 i finally went in for my operation and everything went wonderfully, all by the book. the hospital stay was ok but i thought a few of the nurses were cold and judgemental but i honestly didnt give too much thought to it cause they dont know me and i didnt care what they thought of me.
i went home in 6 days and the journey from then to now has been interesting. im 15 weeks post-op and ive currently lost  18.5 kilo's (thats about 40.8pounds). i have suffered bad dumping syndrome but its finally starting to calm down. my weight loss feels like its taking forever but i know im doing great. i have only just started to exercise and thats going good too.people are constently commenting on how good im doing and that tickles me pink. my goal is to reach a healthy 75 kilo's and try and have another baby.
