Wow what a journey.

Sep 28, 2006

Wow what a journey. Fred and I were married August 27th and it was truly the happiest day of my life. Our families and friends were all there with us a with God's blessing it was a flawless day. I am truly blessed to be able to say that absolutely nothing went wrong the whole day. With rain the few days before we were worried but our day was as sunny as sunshine could be. That was the beginning of a new life for us. Well on Wed I got the news that I was about to have another new beginning. I (Fred went with me) went to Dr. Berthas office for my first consult and too start the process in hopes of having surgery the end of this year the beginning of next. We met with him and he said everything looked great. I am to this point very blessed that I have no "co morbidities" to speak of and the only glitch was me being hypothyroid. He said that was not a worry at all. The surgery would not correct it but it would not get in the way of me having it. He also said that he can do it lap. and not open. Well it is a good thing that I did not even think about that part ahead of time becuase if I had thought about there being a chance that he would have to do open then I would have been a wreck. But all in all it was great. He headed us out to go meet with Carla for the next steps. Well Josephine was there and in one big whirlwind I told them when my psych and nut appts were and they asked when I wanted to have surgery and half joking I said ASAP and to my suprise she said well how about the 30th. Well wow then I realized that she meant October 30th of this year. A little more than a month away. Well me being in shock my husband, being the awesome man that he is, jumped in and said we would take it. So now everything is set and all we have to pray for is that things go smoothly with the insurance company. Josephine know we are dealing with Oxford from Fred's surgery in June and she said it would not be a problem at all. They have only one requirement and that is that you have a MBI of 40 or higher. Well I definetely have that. SOOOOOOO Long story short I am scheduled and everything is in motion for my new beginning on the 30th! I am so excited yet nervous. WOW and YAY!! God has been just awesome with us and this is another proof that faith in Him is the only way to go. I guess His plan was a little faster than mine. He is the one in charge and it is truly just my job to obey so that is what I am going to do. Thank you to Him and to my wonderful husband who has truly shown me love no matter what. He allowed me to feel like the most beautiful bride in the whole world on the day of our wedding and that made my princess day magical. I CAN'T WAIT!!!! YAY!!!!!!!

The happiest day of my life!
