Getting Settled in after Surgery

Surgery went great!

Had a tough time getting liquids in; possibly because they started me out with a dose of liquid pain medication?  Seemed to really set my system off in a whirl.  Fever in hospital on nights 2 and 3.  I honestly think I could have/would have done a lot better with a more tolerable roommate (details on that fiasco later).

Anyway, home now!  I have a treadmill here but the lowest incline is pretty steep so it's been difficult to get going on it.  The streets are covered with ice, so did my walking in the grocery store today.  (Is that weird?)

Still having a bit of trouble getting liquids in, but working on increasing slowly.  Can we spice up our broth with cayenne pepper?

Anything you can tolerate but remember that your tummy will be sensitive for a week or two!

I live in Michigan, so it is very icey right now, and getting some more snow today.  I have been just walking up and down my hallway Kind of boring but at least I am walking.
