Hello A team
I weighed myself today and it said 228.....but I drank last night and I am dehydrated so I think I am more like 230. I am ok with this.  How is everyone doing? Not much else to say today. I have to go to the grocery store and need to start getting back to the basics. Protien lots of protien and good carbs with veggies. I realized it is so hard to buy healthy on a budget bu tI am going nto try harder! I am not as sad about my hair this week. It is still too short but hey it will grow and now it will be healthy!
What say you?

Hello. I am so sorry I haven't been around for a few weeks. A very dear friend of mine was in a car accident and passed away. I spent weeks at her side in the hospital and then later on in the hospice.
Weight wise I am ok....197ish. that's up a few pounds but I know it will come off easily.
I am glad to see you back, Dee. I have missed you.

Shar

Hey Dee! Glad to see you on here! Things are going pretty good here! My weight is still about the same. Been busy taking care of DH after his revision. He is doing so good! He bounced back much better than I did. He did not have as much scar tissue as i did so maybe that has something to do with it?? Who knows!
Shar, so sorry to hear about your friend. I had a very close friend that I lost also and went thru the hospice and finally brought her to my house until she passed away. It will get easier. Hope to hear from some of the others this week!
Take care and remember Nothing taste as good as thin feels!
Have a great week!

Shar Im so sorry about your friend. My prayers go out to you and her family as well.
Weight wise, Im doing better. Pain is better and Im able to eat without hurting again, thank God.
Ive been fighting to gain some weight since battling pancreatitis for the past year. Today I am actually 120, which is up 2 lbs from last week. My boyfriend is a wonderful cook and likes to make sure Im eating what I should. It's so nice to have someone who actually cares and makes sure I eat what Im suppose to. Life is actually great for me right now. As you all know, this past year was pretty rough for me.
Thanks for standing beside me thru all of it.
I love you all

Hubby doing really good! Lost about 27lbs in little over 2 weeks. getting around great and already semi back at work. Insurance did not pay for the revision well, sorda not! For 2 full years he complained to the VA about throwing up almost everyday....just ole yellow bile! They did so many test and sent him to none less than 15 doctors. Finally they decided that for some reason his stomach had 2 openings.....go figure??? It was actually a staple line opening. anyway, none of the Dr's recogonized it as staple line opening. They decided he needed a revision and gallbladder taken out. He tried to go to Mississippi but they would not accept him because they did not do the orginal surgery 32 years ago. Finally, Little ROck VA opted to outsource his surgery to whatever hospital and Dr of his choice. The reason for this is because they did not have a surgeon at any of the Va's that was a specialist in this field! After having 2 years to research this, we opted to let my Dr do the revision! So with all that said, the surgery actually cost us a total of $100.00. Yep I feel a huge blessing!
