Waiting...

When I first got my date for October I was disappointed. I wanted an earlier date. It would have made things much easier - finding someone to help me with things after surgery. I also wanted to be on the losing side fast. But I think this time has made me really work at preparing myself mentally for the surgery. I have read about many of the problems people have experienced ( pain, regret, anger at not losing fast enough, wounds that don't heal etc). Once I have made up my mind I tend to just charge in. While it still would make things easier to have an earlier date, waiting does have certain advantages. Anne

Sometimes waiting is just better...sure the anxiety stinks but it buys you time to get things in order, to maybe start "practicing" your new lifestyle and so on. Good luck to you. Danielle
