Anyone out there only lost 50 pounds in 7 months? I don't care how long it takes just so I know I'll make it to 100 pounds. Anyone out there only lose 50 pounds at 7 months post op and make it to 100 eventually?

DEAR CW, WE ARE ALL DIFFERENT, I LOST 108 lbs SINCE NOV. 20, 2002 I WAS 380.1 LBS & 5'6! YOU ARE DOING FINE, PROTEIN, PROTEIN, PROTEIN, DRINK AT LEAST 64-70 OZS OF WATER A DAY, IT FLUSHES OUT THE FAT, TAKE YOUR VITAMINS & WALK MORE. I DRINK GERBER BABY PEAR JUICE 4 OZS. A DAY SO I WON'T GET CONSTIPATED. HAVE LOW FAT, LOW SUGAR & LOW SODIUM FOODS. GOOD LUCK & BE PATIENT, IT TOOK YEARS TO PUT ON. YOUR DOING FINE, HUGS, LAURA

I havn't had that problem but am still slower than some. The key is to be sure to have at least 60 grams of protein daily. What has helped me is to keep a food journal. watch and record calories, carbs and protein. Keep the calories near or under 800 and do high protein. I mix protein powder with sugar free pudding and skim milk. Very filling, tastes fine, low calories, yet am getting good protein. Above all, don't loose the faith!!!!!!!!! Louise Gilman
