Soft Food Stage...whats on the list?

On 11/23, I will be advanced to soft foods.  I already eat cream soups, mashed potatoes, baby food on purees.  Whats on the soft food list?  Anything soft that can be tolerated?

At no point were mashed potatoes and baby food on my list of approved foods, so you're probably best to ask your surgeon for their specific diet recommendations.

These are on the list from my doctor and NUT.

And just because things are on the list, doesn't mean they're healthy for us to consume :/

Wow...that's not the question I asked at all.  I asked what was on the soft foods list.

I think I am doing very well considering I've lost 30 pounds and my surgery was 10/29/15.

So I'll say it again - what foods are on your soft food list from your surgeon, since, clearly, not everyone gets the same recommendations.  As evidenced by the fact that if you asked for pureed foods, most of us would tell you NOT to eat mashed potatoes.

Gwen M.  I am going to ask you to stay off of my post.  I did not say in any of my posts that I eat mashed potatoes every day and by the pint !!  I asked what is on others' soft food lists.  Take your negativity elsewhere....

Anyone want to let me know whats on your soft foods list?

Why do you refuse to state what's on your soft foods list?  Do you not have one?  If that's the case, you should contact your surgeon for that information so you can ensure compliance.

Don't you think it would be odd for your doctor or nut to give you an allowed list of foods that weren't healthy to consume? I am not sure what doctor you go to, but I would really question their ethics on that one....
