"I first met Dr. Singh at a Bariatric forum, June 2003. He is a very gentle and soft-spoken man. He is a patient and very informative doctor. No question goes unanswered. His staff is composed of 2 person who have had the procedure as well. We went through alot to get me to my surgery date. I had Aetna at first which I thought was the greatest insurer until I started this journey. They took 4 months to tell me I had to wait 6 months and then reapply. Dr. Singh's staff stuck with me until I was able to change insurers in January 2005. I think he was just as happy as I was when I scheduled my date. There is a super support staff that is made up of the world's greatest nurse (Cathy Carr), a nutrionist and therapist. They all are in the same office so if you every have a problem there is someone that can help you. They also have a support group that meets twice a month. There is a pre-op and post-op meeting to help you become better informed as to what to expect. Overall the team of Singh and Averbach are the best!!!!!!!!!"
