I can't believe that I am 2 years into my new life! I am down 115 pounds and feeling better then I ever have. I am a runner now, something I used to avoid at all costs even in high school when I was fit and athletic. This new life was the very best decision I have even made for me. I will add some photos to see the difference. I have been able to maintain my weight for the last 8 months or so with correct food and exercise. I have a strong desire to go back to school for nutrition and dietician and specialize in bariatrics. I feel that bariatric specific nutrition and diet information is very lacking and it is something many people need help with. This is a completely new way of eating and living and we all need help and support.

I had my check up and I have lost a quarter of myself. Thats crazy to actually think about. All is going as it should I did mention some lightheadedness at times and as long as it does not get to often I should be OK but if it becomes more frequent then call and they will run labs early to make sure. My blood pressure was really low as well at 90/60.
I can not believe how different I feel from a year ago. I am down 70 pounds and hoping for about 30 more

I am now at 196 pounds down 59 from my surgery weight of 255.
I have lost 44 inches total to go along with the 59 pounds.
I am amazed each and every day how much easier I get around, how my feet no longer hurt, how I have so much more energy to go and do things. We just got back from a trip to San Francisco and we walked and walked and I was fine full of energy no foot pain. This is the best thing ever.
I have had many people ask if I have lost weight and asking what I am doing. Many I have told I had surgery and others I have said working hard eating less better choices and more exercise.
I am enjoying the new me. New photos coming soon

That means when I go to the doctors office I no longer have to either watch them start at 150 and keep slowly mooving up then move the large weight to 200, or do like I was used to and move the large weight to 200 to start so I save myself some time and agony.
We are leaving for vacation tomorrow and I am excited cause I actually want to be in photos now.
What an amazing milestone to have reached. By By 55 pounds, I have less to lose then I have lost for a change.

I am down to a size 14-16 depending on what I buy. I have bought and wear an XL sweatshirt thats roomy and a Large dress. I am full of energy and I am loving life. We have had a few HOT days so far in So Cal and I was not sweating like I had in the past and feeling like just sitting in the air conditioning. I was out and about enjoying life. I am down 50 pounds so far and walking as much as I can, hitting the gym as time allows. This is getting to be the crazy time of year with school for the boys so I am trying to maintain my commitment to me. I have been doing great with food no problems eating anything, havn't tried anything really to see if i dump not worth it to me. I have traveled a few times and it was not a problem at all. Sharing food with hubby is great.

Things have been going well with foods, I have only had one bad foamy and vomiting experiance on solid food and it was on fish I cooked a home, I am pretty sure it had something to do with he way I cooked it as I have had fish many many times and its always been very easy on my tummy.
My hubby and I just got back from a 5 day trip to Colorado and I did very well with food. We actually split many meals or I had an appitizer like shrimp cocktail. I packed some ready to drink protein drinks for breakfast each day and also had packed protein bars and some click protein powder just incase I needed extra protein.
So as for now I am very happy with my progress, I have been walking a min of 2 miles each day and hitting he gym 2-4 times a week as my schedule allows. Till next time

I have been out to eat with family and friends a few times in the past 6 weeks and it has not been too bad. I look for soup, fish, shrimp, or beans on the menu. I am really enjoying light white fish and shrimp lately. I also went to the market and picked up 2 crab legs last week and that was dinner for 2 plus nights. I went out shopping with a friend on Sat and although I did not find much at all I did purchase a pair of pants in the next size down for $3 at Old Navy! I figure even if i skip past that size $3 is not too much money to waste. I will try once a week to get them on and see how it goes. I have also gone through my closet in the past 2 weeks and I filled 3.5 kitchen trash bags with clothes that I will never wear again. All sizes and all seasons but some had been in my closet so long that no matter what I would not want to wear them. Also a great deal of them is just plain t-shirts that i can do with out.
