Cindy, Congratulations on 69 pounds...that is great! It is too bad your surgeon didn't stress the contribution we all have to make to our weight loss. My surgical team (including a psychologist) really made us understand that all the surgery does is to level the playing field and get a head start. I try to always eat my protein first, I never drink while I eat, and I am exercising quite a bit. I'm also losing slower than others and that is okay too. I think visiting this site and interacting with people here also helps us stay on track! Cheers! (ryn 9/12/02 -93)
