what a friggin year it's been

Well, it's been a sucky year for me so far. I've lost my husband of 8 years and I am struggling financially. I have also been struggling with pancreatitis since Feb.  I can't eat because when I do, I have lots of pain and my blood levels are off the charts. I have been on IV nutrition since Feb 9th.  They have tried to wean me off the IV's but everytime they do, I get sick again.  I have an appointment to see a gastro specialist in a couple of weeks.  If they dont find out what's causing it or "fix" me, I am contemplating going to the Mayo Clinic for help.  I am getting really discouraged. If anyone else has had trouble with pancreatitis since their surgery, I would love to chat with them.

PS: My 2 year anniversary came and went and I forgot all about it because I am so sick.
