Relay for Life

Apr 17, 2011

I volunteered as a chaperon for my school's Relay for Life Team again for the second time. Started off really well, got the tents up and then exhaustion set in. Prior to the event I had managed though to find and get a B-12 injection, and boy I sure did notice a difference. Too bad, I over did it at Relay and ended up spending 1/2 of it in a chair and then later in the tent. Not sure if the yogurt I took with me was bad or not, but I was sooo sick. The world was spinning around me and ultimately I had to leave early the next morning. I was so bummed because I had high hopes of making it more than once around the track. I just keep telling myself that next year I'll be a different person all together. Well, I'm hopeful. :)

The scales are moving again and I'm relieved. Increasing water is helping, too bad it's so hot, that I would much rather guzzle it down in one sitting than sip all day long. Definitely having to adjust to amounts is the hardest part of post-op diet so far. :)
