Update on the update

Good morning all.

I have been sooooo freaking good on my life changes and have had so much energy since I've been eating better and drinking more protein and water. I can't say that I've lost anything this week, but looged in 16,000 meters on the rowing machine and 3 hours on the elliptical as well as walked for my morning coffee yesterday and walked for two hours at Arts Alive last night. I assume my body is in total health shock and holding on to the pounds. What matters is what I've been doing for myself and not what the scale says because honestly I feel good. I have rejected scones and junk. Friday there was pizza at the office and I checked the calorie content. I could have had a piece of pizza (small slice at 200 calories) but I chose to not eat it because it just weighs a person down. These are just the choices I have to make to feel better.

I was missing a lot of work because of feeling sick, the hip surgery set me back last year but that was a year ago now and there is absolutely no excuse. I will be kind to myself and not call myself lazy. I am not a lazy person, I just make choices that are easy and not good for me.

The weight will come off eventually. Gaining 27 pounds in five years isn't that awful. I can live with that.  Once thing I did notice when I posted my goal of wanting to get back down to 130 my sister pipes up saying that she didn't want to see me a  "bag of skin and bones"  I am currently listed as overweight on my BMI - getting down to 130 at my 5-2 frame is a "normal" range. Although I have always thought the BMI index isn't healthy weight standards by the government. As I remember wearing a size 2 and 4 and it said I was overweight. I have to just take how I feel into the equasion. Healthy and not sick, active and able to do what I want with good strong energy equals the right body mass index for me. What is a chart"?
