Drainage Tubes

I have read about so many people going home with drainage tubes after surgery. Is this common? Will I have one following a LAP RNY?

Hi Laurie, When I had my surgery, the drainage tubes were taken out about an hour before I went home. It was painless, just felt funny. Doreen
