Topic: How's everyone from August 18th surgery?
Hi,
A few of you had surgery the same day as me---August 18---How is everyone doing? How much was lost? How much pain you're still in? What everyone is eating now?
I'm feeling pretty good. Pain right now is isolated in lower left abdomon. I get the staples out on Monday. I have lost 12 pounds. I am still eating thicker soups etc. with protein shakes in between.
Just thought it would be cool to see how everyone is progressing from 8-18

Congrats on your decision make sure to take your before pics and then one very month thereafter you will be amazed..and it is great to look back from where you came..

thanks hoping. i had a really good recovery (my surgery was on august 2) and right before i was knocked out the anestheologist was singing her praises...said he's seen lots of doctors at a few different hospitals and she is really smoothe....

Height: 5'6". Top Weight/Surgery Weight: 274. (August 2010)
8 weeks out: 219.6. 12 weeks out: 198.
NORMAL WEIGHT REACHED MARCH 2011 (153 lbs.).
Goal BMI: In the normal range, please -- somewhere between 22-24
Clothing size 26/28 (triple X) before surgery in August of 2010.
March 2011 clothing size: 10/12 (large)

Well my surgery is scheduled for next Tuesday 8/31. I start my liquid diet Tuesday!! I just want to be back on the road to being healthy again.

I hear that. Its been a 6 month looonnng process for me. I have never been more ready!
