I am very sore but nothing that I can't handle. Been sipping water and broth. Is it OK to put warm heat to incision areas?? I really do not want to do anything wrong.
I'd make sure I put a tea towel or washcloth between the heat and your skin. Also, make sure you only use it in 5-10 minute increments. You don't want to damage the skin and underlying structures with too much heat.
They offered me warm blankets to go across my belly in the hospital. Like the other person said, make sure it's not direct heat, but yes, you should be okay with doing that.
