Reconnecting to OH

I'm coming up on my 7th annivesary of my surgery and I am reconnecting to my OH site. I haven't been on this site since 2006. The most important reason is to reconnect to you and re-learn some of the things I have forgotten. I recently had a seizure and have had problems with hypoglycemia. I had my thyroid removed one year ago as well after being misdiagnosed so many other things in the book. I was able to find my old blog entries so I posted them below. It certainly has been a journey for me and it continues to as well. I've now completing graduate school where I will graduate this December to be a therapist. I'm writing a book called, "Butterfly Girl" and I have fallen in love with the most amazing man! Life is great! Yet this most recent health scare has brought me back to square one. It is my hope to learn as much as I can to better my health.  I hope to meet many people on this site where I can learn from your experiences. Keep in mind, I'm "old school" in WLS as I had the open RNY. I would like to meet people who had this surgery and have been "out" from their surgery date as long as I have. Thanks!
