Wow! I received an early Christmas present this afternoon ~ a date for my hernia/revision surgery! : )
I was hoping to have the surgery during my Christmas break as I teach and wouldn't need to use additional sick leave, but I am still excited. We have information and are ready to move forward.
I now have six weeks to plan, prepare, and build stamina for pre and post surgery preparation and recovery.
