"How did my impression of him change over time? Love him more and more every day. I have never met a kinder, more supportive MD. He takes the time you need so you can succeed. His surgical competence and bedside manner are both great.
Six months post op he is just as caring and concerned about your issues. Always willing to listen. Like that he has the nutritionist at each visit now. That is a great addition. Now at 15 months post op and I love him more and more everyday. They don't get better than Dr. Blaney and Dr. Chasen.

Did he emphasize aftercare: over and over again. I was quite impressed by the education I received prior to getting a surgery date. Met with him twice already for an individual session and then a group session. Group session was 4 hours on a saturday where he not only described the surgeries but showed video of each and explained each step and answered questions. Not one person can say they did not get informed consent. He also discussed risks of surgery to include death and his rates of these risks. 15 months after surgery attended a reeducation seminar called LEAP.
Like least: Nothing. I like everything about him and his staff.

"The experience was a good one. I was pleasantly surprised at the level of care and support I recieved. Staff were knowledgable about the post op needs and course of bariatric patients. Billing and accounts was exceptional resolving conflicts immediately. "
"I bought a sample size first for 2.59 and was delighted with the taste. Mixed with FF milk it did not have a gritty taste or that terrible protein taste. Highly recommended and I plan to stick with it for surgery. (Vanilla) "
