one week home from the hospital

Gastric By-pass and a Hernia Repair (man i got a new belly button)ok i have been home from the hospital for 1 week. the last thing i have been thinking about is being on the computer but i wanted to post to let anyone looking and or reading ot know I MADE IT! .. i have never had a major surgery before so it was rather a scarey thing. but i had my Stone right beside me the whole way. i honestly don't remember that first 24 hours for sure and well as Stone had posted to a group we belong to "she was as loopy as a box of fruit loops" LOL .. after looking back YEP I WAS. sleeping was all good that first couple of days being home ..the pain meds helped there. but this is a girl that loves sleeping on her side and man that wasn't happening. i would sleep for maybe 2 hours and awake for the rest of the night .. but finally i am able to sleep some on my sides and that is helping ... i have been lucky so far.. no throwing up ... and well as the saying goes : gas is good poo is better and MAN I FELL SO MUCH BETTER! at 48 and i am excited about that ..who knew? ... well trying to get in the water and eating all 6 times a day and protein in every meal has been hard being so tired. but today was the first day to be able to work it all in .. ok the water part i am still working on as i am writing but i am working on it ,,,
ok i am getting a bit tired typing tonight ... so time to take a break. talk to you all later
